Help & guidance
A little guidance on orders, delivery, returns, and choosing a piece with meaning.
Contact us as soon as possible with your order number and the change you need. Once your order is being prepared or has shipped, changes may no longer be possible. Eligible returns and any applicable cancellation rights are covered in our Returns & Refunds policy.
Contact us straight away with your order number and the correct address. We’ll check whether it can still be updated. If your parcel has already shipped, an address change may not be possible; we’ll help you understand the next steps.
Check your spam or junk folder and the email address used at checkout. If payment appears to have gone through but there’s no confirmation, contact us before placing the order again. Include your checkout email and any payment reference you have.
You can pay securely through PayPal. The payment options available within PayPal may vary by country and account and will be shown when you open PayPal checkout. You’ll see your order amount and currency before approving payment.
If you closed PayPal before approving payment, you can try again when you’re ready. For a declined payment, check the payment details or choose another available funding option within PayPal. If the result is unclear, check your confirmation email and PayPal activity before retrying, or contact us so we can help.
Enter your code at checkout and select Apply. For a welcome offer, first confirm your email subscription, then use the same email address at checkout that received the offer. Check the email for the offer’s expiry date and conditions.
Your welcome offer and automatic product or order discounts are compared, and the one that saves you more is applied. If the savings are equal, the automatic discount stays. Shipping offers may still apply. Removing a welcome code before placing your order does not use up the offer; its original expiry and eligibility still apply.
Most orders are prepared for dispatch within 2–5 business days. Personalized, made-to-order, pre-order, or temporarily delayed items may need more time, as noted on the product page or communicated by email. We’ll send a tracking link once your order has shipped.
Delivery time depends on your destination and the shipping method you choose. Available estimates are shown at checkout and in our Shipping & Delivery policy. Transit estimates start after dispatch, so please allow for order processing as well. Customs, carrier conditions, and peak periods can affect delivery.
Shipping rates and free shipping thresholds vary by market. When your merchandise total after discounts and before tax reaches your market’s threshold, eligible Standard Shipping is free. Shipping charges do not count toward the threshold, and Express Shipping remains charged at the displayed rate. Checkout confirms the methods available for your address and order.
We deliver to the destinations listed in our Shipping & Delivery policy. The shipping methods available for your address and items are confirmed at checkout. If your country isn’t listed, please contact us before ordering.
Tracking can take a few business days to update after dispatch, especially while a parcel moves between international delivery partners. If your tracking link hasn’t updated after five business days, contact us with your order number so we can review the shipment.
If the estimated delivery window has passed, contact us with your order number and tracking details. If tracking says Delivered, first check with household members, your building’s reception, and any safe place the carrier may have used. If you still can’t find it, let us know so we can investigate with the delivery partner.
For most destinations we currently serve, applicable import duties and taxes are handled as part of our shipping process, so you should not normally be asked to pay additional import charges when your order arrives.
If destination-specific charges apply, they will be communicated during checkout or before shipment where applicable. If a carrier asks you for an unexpected import payment, contact us with the notice so we can check it.
You may request a return within 30 days of receiving your order under our voluntary return policy. Items must be unused and unworn, in the condition received, with their original packaging, tags, and included components or accessories. Product-specific exceptions are explained in our Returns & Refunds policy. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
Contact us with your order number, the item you’d like to return, and the reason. For a voluntary return, please wait for our return instructions and send the item within 14 days of receiving them. Use only the return address we provide, not the address on the parcel. Applicable statutory cancellation or withdrawal rights do not require our approval.
For a change-of-mind return, you pay the return postage. If we sent the wrong item or it has a defect, contact us so we can arrange the appropriate return process and cover the costs we’re responsible for. Please see our Returns & Refunds policy for original delivery charges and applicable cancellation rights.
After receiving and inspecting your return, we’ll email you the outcome. For approved voluntary returns, we normally issue the refund to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval; statutory deadlines take priority where applicable. Your bank or payment provider may take longer to show it. If it hasn’t appeared within 15 business days of our refund confirmation, contact us. Refunds reflect the amount actually paid after discounts.
Contact us with your order number and a description of the issue, preferably within seven days of delivery. Photos of the item and packaging can help us review what happened. We’ll explain the next steps. Reporting later, or not having photos, does not remove any statutory rights you may have.
No. A piece may include natural stones, wood, or other natural materials alongside metal, enamel, glass, resin, cord, or manufactured components. Check the individual product’s Specifications section for its composition, including any stated treatments or lab-created or simulated materials. Contact us if you need clarification before choosing.
Photographs show the design and overall appearance. Colour, pattern, texture, and finish may vary between pieces, and screen settings can affect how colours look. Minor variations consistent with the materials and description are not automatically defects. If your item is damaged or materially different from its description, contact us so we can review it.
Check the product’s measurements and available size options, then use our Size Guide where relevant. Measure carefully and consider how you prefer the piece to fit. For a gift, the recipient’s usual size can be a helpful starting point. If you’re unsure, contact us before ordering.
Follow the Care & use guidance on the individual product page. Unless the product says otherwise, avoid perfume, harsh chemicals, salt water, high heat, and prolonged moisture. Store pieces separately and handle delicate components gently; care needs vary with the materials and finish.
Start with what matters to you now. You might be drawn to a symbol’s story, an intention you want to return to, an elemental quality that reflects a season of change, or a zodiac or birthstone connection that feels personal.
Then consider the piece itself: its materials, form, size, and how you’ll wear or use it. Meaning feels most personal when both the object and its story feel right to you.
No. These are different ways to discover a piece, rather than parts of one system that must all match. Symbols draw on particular traditions; the Five Elements explore movement and change; intentions begin with a quality you’d like to bring into everyday life; zodiac and birthstones connect meaning with birth and time.
Begin with whichever path feels relevant to you. You can explore the others for context without needing to find a single correct combination.
Start with the product’s About the design section and our Symbols guide. Symbols can come from different cultural, spiritual, artistic, and craft traditions, so their meanings depend on their source and context.
We distinguish traditional associations from ElementsZen’s contemporary interpretation. A meaning shared here is a way to understand a piece, rather than a universal definition for every tradition.
We use these words to describe traditional associations, symbolic wishes, or personal intentions. Protection might be a reminder of boundaries or courage; prosperity might express a wish for opportunity; balance might suggest steadiness in everyday life.
They offer cultural and reflective context, not a promise of a particular result. Our pieces do not guarantee health, wealth, luck, protection, or other outcomes.
The Five Elements, or Wuxing—Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water—are a traditional Chinese framework for understanding phases of movement and change, rather than simply five types of material.
At ElementsZen, we explore them through qualities such as growth, illumination, grounding, refinement, and flow. These are ways to reflect on a piece’s materials, form, and meaning, not a fixed label for your identity or a universal rule assigning every stone to an element.
Chinese zodiac, Western zodiac, and birthstone traditions are distinct ways of connecting meaning with birth and time. Their symbols and associations come from different traditions and do not need to be combined into one system.
You can use them as a personal connection or a starting point for a gift. Still consider the person’s taste, preferred materials, and size; you don’t have to choose only according to a birth date.
